| Washington DC Art Project Reveals Private Secrets Online.
The PostSecret Project began with the distribution of over 3,000 one-sided postcards in Washington DC. Each card invited the recipient to anonymously share a secret regret, fear, desire, humiliation, or confession. To date, 174 PostSecret cards have been mailed back with secrets – sometimes illustrated.
The PostSecret project continues to receive secrets from DC residents but now has a larger goal: To collect at least one secret mailed from each of the 50 States.
